Macklin Celebrini (C) – San Jose Sharks
Celebrini registered the second hat-trick of his career and matched his career best for points in a game (five) on 10/23/2025 (6-5 OTW @ NYR). The Sharks forward recorded three goals and two assists en route to a San Jose win at Madison Square Garden. The 19-year-old added a three point (one goal, two assists) performance on 10/26/2025, including the game-winning goal in overtime. Celebrini has had a strong start to his sophomore season as he leads all Sharks skaters in goals (five), points (15) and is tied with Dmitri Orlov for the team lead in assists through the opening eight games of the season. He also ranks third among league skaters in points.
Drafted first overall by the Sharks at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, Celebrini registered 63 points (25 goals, 38 assists) in 70 regular-season games last season as a rookie. He ranked third in the Calder Memorial Trophy (rookie of the year) voting behind second ranked Dustin Wolf (CGY) and winner Lane Hutson (MTL). Prior to the NHL, Celebrini attended Boston University and lead all Terriers skaters in points with 64 (32 goals, 32 assists) ahead of teammate Lane Hutson with 49 points (15 goals, 34 assists).
Logan Cooley (C) – Utah Mammoth
Cooley registered the first natural hat-trick of his NHL career and finished the game with a new career high in points in a single game with four on 10/23/2025 (7-4 W @ STL). He registered all four points within the opening frame of the contest against the Blues. This marks Cooley’s second hat-trick of his career and first since 3/28/2024 (8-4 W vs NSH). The Pittsburgh native registered three points (two goals, one assist) to lead the Mammoth to a victory on the road at Grand Casino Arena on 10/25/2025 (6-2 W @ MIN). Cooley is tied with Nick Schmaltz among all Mammoth skaters in goals with seven.
Cooley was drafted third-overall by the Arizona Coyotes at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and skated in 167 regular-season games, registering 120 points (52 goals, 68 assists) with the organization in the opening three years of his professional career. He ranked first among Minnesota Golden Gophers (NCAA) and second among all collegiate skaters in points with 60 (22 goals, 38 assists), five points behind Michigan’s Adam Fantilli during the 2022-23 season.
Alex Ovechkin (LW) – Washington Capitals
Alex Ovechkin establishes himself as the 24th skater in NHL history to record 1,500 regular-season games played. He sits seven games behind the only other active skater (Brent Burns) in most career games played in league history and 279 games behind current leader, Patrick Marleau. After securing the NHL record for most goals in a career (895) last season, Ovechkin is en route to reach and surpass the 900 goal mark this season. The Washington captain is one goal away from reaching the milestone after capturing the game-winning goal on 10/24/2025 (5-1 W @ CBJ).
The 40-year-old forward has skated in 1500 regular-season games and has registered 1630 points (899 goals, 731 assists), all coming as a member of Capitals after being drafted by the club first-overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Known for his goal-scoring prowess, Ovechkin currently ranks first in NHL history in most regular-season goals in a career (899), most power-play goals in a career (326), most overtime goals in a career (27), most game-winning goals in a career (137), most 30-goal seasons in a career (19), most 40-goal seasons in a career (14) and is tied with Mike Bossy and Wayne Gretzky for most 50-goal seasons in a career (nine).
Adrian Kempe (LW) – Los Angeles Kings
Kempe tallies back-to-back overtime goals on 10/21/2025 (2-1 OT @ STL) and 10/23/2025 (3-2 OT @ DAL) to increase his career overtime goal total to nine. He added an assist in each game and opened the scoring in the following game on 10/25/2025 (5-4 SOL @ NSH). In the opening nine games on the season, Kempe leads all Kings skaters in goals (five), assists (seven) and points (12).
Skating in his tenth season in a Kings uniform, Kempe has registered 414 points (199 goals, 215 assists) in 640 games after being drafted by the club 29th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The Swedish native lead all Kings skaters in points with 73 last season and skated in three games for Team Sweden at the Four Nations Face-off.
Jack Hughes (C) – New Jersey Devils
J. Hughes secured the third hat-trick of his NHL career to lead the Devils to victory in Toronto on 10/21/2025 (5-2 W @ TOR). He registered another multi-goal performance on 10/26/2025 (4-3 OT vs COL), including the game-winning goal in overtime to secure two-points and extend the Devils’ win-streak to eight games to solidify his club as first place in the eastern conference. The New Jersey forward is tied with Mark Scheifele (WPG) and Shane Pinto (OTT) for the league lead in goals this season with eight.
Drafted first-overall by New Jersey in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Hughes has tallied 377 regular-season games and registered 363 points (149 goals, 214 assists). J. Hughes has eclipsed the 20-goals per season mark three times in his career and established a career single season high of 43 goals in 2022-23. Last season Hughes skated in four games for Team USA at the Four Nations Face-off.
